Winter Storm Watch in effect from Saturday evening through
Sunday evening.
The National Weather Service in gray has issued a Winter Storm
Watch which is in effect from Saturday evening through Sunday
evening.
* Hazard types... heavy wet snow.
* Accumulations... 6 to 10 inches of wet snow.
* Timing... light precipitation will change to all snow Saturday
night and become heavy at times late Saturday night into the day
on Sunday.
* Impacts... heavy wet snow will cause slick travel and scattered
power outages.
* Winds... northeast 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
* Temperatures... in the upper 20s.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow... sleet... or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
