Special Statement
Special Statement Statement as of 3:47 PM EDT on March 17, 2015
A few gusty snow showers and snow squalls possible through
late afternoon and early evening.
A strong cold front will work its way across Maine and New
Hampshire late this afternoon and early evening. It will be
accompanied by gusty winds and scattered snow squalls. A few of
the squalls may start as rain at the coast and at other lower
elevations. The bulk of the activity will be over the mountains
and foothills but some may make their way to the coast. Any heavy
squalls will be accompanied by briefly low visibilities in heavy
snow which may also cause slippery conditions as temperatures
drop behind the front. The activity should be offshore by 7 PM.
