Hazard types... heavy wet snow. Accumulations... 5 to 9 inches of snow. Timing... rain or snow will begin in the area around sunset. Any rain will change to wet snow during the evening hours. Yesterday our local winds did not exceed 17 mph. In Portland the winds were in the 30's, and up in Bangor they were around 25 mph. This morning's readings are: a relative humidity of 69% with a Dew Point of 45.7ºF. The temperature is 55.4ºF, with no wind chill at this time. What little wind we have so far is between 2.2 mph and 6.0 mph out of the South Southwest. Flood warnings are now in effect for Oxford County in Maine and for adjoining regions of New Hampshire.
