STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN KENNEBEC... NORTHWESTERN WALDO...SOUTHEASTERN SOMERSET AND SOUTHEASTERN FRANKLIN
COUNTIES THROUGH 5:45 PM EDT...
At 4:57 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles south of Kingsbury Plantation to 6
miles southeast of Farmington. Movement was east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Waterville, Farmington, Fairfield, Skowhegan, Oakland, Pittsfield,
Thorndike, Madison, China, Clinton, Belgrade, Norridgewock, Unity,
Palermo, Knox, Benton, Anson, Canaan, Albion, and Hartland.
This includes Interstate 95 between mile markers 125 and 157.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
