This morning we have partly sunny skies with a slight chance of showers. Patchy fog and warm with highs in the upper 80s. Southwest winds around 10 mph, becoming west this afternoon gusting to 25 mph. Heat index values in the upper 90s. Stay out of the sun and drink a lot of water.

Tonight we’ll have partly cloudy conditions and a chance of showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall. Humid with lows around 70°F and South winds around 10 mph in the evening, becoming light and variable. Chance of rain 50 percent. Heat index values in the lower 90s early in the evening.

If you’re really into wind power you’ve probably heard that there are two kinds. The Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) and the Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine (HAWT).

So which one is best and most efficient?
