Yesterday I posted a “how to” url (one of many out there) install solar panels.

What if you want a wind turbine instead? Well, if you think about it not all locations will have enough sun for solar panels. Likewise not all locations will have enough wind for wind turbines.

So, why not some solar panels and some wind turbines for the house?

I live in Maine where Snow, ice and wind chills are common during the winter.

A small wind turbine or two to power the electric space heaters holds down on the home heating oil bill and the electric bill too.

The URL takes you to a youtube station that starts at the very beginning “for beginners” of how to choose a wind turbine and how to get one up and running. It’s a multi-section series of videos, but the guy is pretty good.

The guy uses language anyone (like me), can understand.

You still have to buy the wind turbine and other stuff, but the installation costs are just that, buying the stuff. The hourly rate of installation is your sweat.

By the way, there is a load of videos out there on how to do this from other sources, so you might want to get online and poke around a bit.
