What about using solar panels to charge up that new car of yours? You know, the electric car or hybrid plug-in.

Of course you can.

Here’s one of many articles that give you a lot of information about how to do it.

Then there’s this one:

Why Using Solar Panels to Charge EVs is Best

This site has other links on it that can help you figure out how many panels and what type to get for the kind of EV or Hybrid car you have.

You might want to give it a look at:

To be sure there are many other articles and companies that would be happy to put solar panels on your garage so that you can charge your EV or Hybrid Plug-in. But you need to educate yourself a bit about it before you even think about your checkbook.

There are the solar panels you see from time to time on buildings, the ones you don’t really “see” because they’re made to look just like roofing shingles and then there’s the flexible, very bendable ones.

Then there’s the efficiency of each type at different temperatures. Yep, the hotter they get, the lower their efficiency.

BTW, if you’re one who likes to do DIY there’s a load of videos online for you to watch.
