An area of heavy snow showers will affect eastern Kennebec... northwestern Knox...Waldo and northeastern Lincoln Counties.

At 6:41 AM EDT...An area of heavy snow showers was between

Waterville and Augusta...moving east AT 20 MPH.

Locations impacted include...

Augusta, Waterville, Rockland, Belfast, Fairfield, Gardiner, Camden,

Lincolnville, Searsport, Thorndike, Oakland, China, Clinton,

Farmingdale, Hallowell, Liberty, Winterport, Palermo, Unity and

Rockport.

This includes Interstate 95 between mile markers 104 and 132, and

between mile markers 134 and 142.

This also includes...

  Moose Point State Park.

  * Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a half mile in this area of heavy snow showers.

* Quick snowfall accumulation of around half an inch is expected in this area of heavy snow showers.

 

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be

prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra

time when traveling.
