FREEZING RAIN AND FREEZING DRIZZLE TUESDAY.

Patchy freezing drizzle Tuesday morning will give way to more consistent freezing rain Tuesday afternoon. Some sleet may also mix in early before a regionwide change to rain during the evening.
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM TUESDAY TO 1 AM EST WEDNESDAY.

* WHAT...Freezing rain and sleet expected. Ice accumulations from a trace to around two tenths of an inch. Sleet accumulations less
than a half inch. Winds gusting as high as 25 mph.
* WHERE...Portions of south central, southwest, west central, and western Maine. Portions of central and northern New Hampshire.
* WHEN...From 1 PM Tuesday to 1 AM EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions due to snow covered
roads. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday evening commute.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
