SNOWSTORM ARRIVES ON FRIDAY.

Low pressure will track out of the Ohio Valley tonight and cross

southern New England on Friday bringing periods of moderate to heavy

snowfall to portions of New Hampshire and southwestern Maine. The heaviest snowfall is expected to fall from Friday morning through the early evening hours.

WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM FRIDAY TO 1 AM EST SATURDAY.

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 6 and 9 inches.

* WHERE...Portions of south central, southwest, and western Maine. Portions of northern New Hampshire.

* WHEN...From 5 AM Friday to 1 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult due to low visibility and snow covered roads. The hazardous conditions could impact the  Friday morning and evening commutes.
