#MEwx Wind, rain and fog with Cookies and Cream Pioe

We're under a wind advisory until noon today so be careful.

This morning we have rain, showers likely this afternoon. Areas of fog this morning, then patchy fog this afternoon. Rain may be heavy during morning hours. Highs around 70 °F. South winds 15 to 25 mph gusting to 50 mph, becoming southwest 15 to 20 mph gusting to 35 mph this afternoon.

Tonight we'll have mostly clear conditions with less humidity and lows around 50 °F. Winds will be southwest around 10 mph.

Our outdoor temperature is 74.8°F, the Humidity is 99%, the Dew Point is 74.7°F with a wind chill of  74.8°F.

The wind direction is Southwest between 4.5 MPH and 7.9 MPH.

The Relative pressure is 29.40, the Absolute pressure is 29.20 and steady with a weather graphic indicating clouds and rain.

Visibility is hard to measure this morning because of the rain and fog. Drive slow and be careful.

We've received 0.64 inches of rain here  over the past 24 hours so far and it's not done coming down yet.

Since there's no presidential debate tonight everyone should have their appetite back. Try this for dessert.

COOKIES AND CREAM PIE

Makes 8 servings

1 ½ cups cold milk (or ½-cup dry milk powder and 1 ½ cold water)

1 pkg ( 4 serving size) JELL-O Vanilla sugar free Instant Pudding and Pie Filling

1 tub (8 oz) COOL WHIP Free whipped topping, thawed

1 cup chopped OREO chocolate sandwich cookies

1 OREO Pie crust

 

Pour milk into large bowl.  Add pudding mix.  Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes.  Let stand 5 minutes.  Gently stir in whipped topping and chopped cookies.  Spoon into crust.  Freeze 6 hours or overnight until firm.  Let stand at room temperature or in refrigerator 15 minutes or until pie can be cut easily.  Garnish with additional chocolate sandwich cookies.  Store left over pie in freezer.
