#MEwx Snow, rain, cold and raw

Good morning Augusta

It’s snowing!

This morning we have Snow or sleet, then rain this afternoon. Snow and sleet accumulation of 2 to 4 inches. Highs in the upper 30s with light and variable winds, becoming southeast around 10 mph this afternoon.

Tonight we’ll have mostly cloudy skies with rain this evening, then a chance for rain showers after midnight. Patchy fog. Not as cold with lows in the upper 30s. Light and variable winds.

The readings from my weather instruments are:

The Wind Chill is 23.4°F, Dew Point is 18°F, the humidity is 81%, and the outdoor temp is 23.4°F.

The wind direction is Northwest between 0.0 MPH and 0.2 MPH.

The Relative pressure is 30.31, the Absolute pressure is 30.11 and falling with a weather graphic indicating snow.

Visibility is 0.8 miles / 1.2 Kilometers with clouds up there somewhere.

The UV rating is 0 out of 16, Sunrise is 7:14 A.M., Sunset is 4:07 P.M., Moonrise is 11:22 P.M., Moonset is 11:28 a.M. and the moon phase is Waning gibbous being 60% illuminated.

Augusta’s RAW METAR readings are:

METAR KAUG 281153Z AUTO 12004KT 3/4SM -SN BR VV013 M05/M06 A3038 RMK AO2 SLP293 P0003 60007 70007 T10501061 11050 21078 56031

We received roughly an inch of snow so far this morning, and it’s still coming down out there right now.

The reason I’m not posting any recipe is because we’ve all had goodies by the gross since Thanksgiving, so I’m looking at diets now.
