2017-2018 NOAA winter weather projections

For those of you who haven’t gone online to see NOAA’s 2017-2018 winter weather projections, the URL for NOAA and their winter projections is:

What it seems to indicate for those of us in the New England region, things will be a bit colder than last winter, but still warmer than the “norm” for the area, whatever that means.

The bottom line is this – you still need to make sure the roof rake will hold together, you have snow shovels with handles that aren’t cracked or broken, your rock salt and ice melt supplies are up to scratch and the snow blower as well as the generator are working properly.

BTW, when was the last time you have that generator and snow blower checked out by your preferred small engine person?  Also, remember that you need to keep some form of stabilizer in the gasoline supply for the generator and snow blower.  Trust me, they’ll start a whole lot easier.
