I’ve been hearing a boatload of opinions about both candidates for this election from a whole new category of voter.  People in this particular category don’t like either candidate and are trying to decide which lever to pull with the hand not occupied holding their nose on election day.

For those of you who fall into this category, I have a non-violent way to deal with the situation.

After a review of the rules for the RNC and DNC, the solution is this:  both vice presidential candidates must decline to pursue the race any farther.  This would force a temporary end to the race until the respective political parties can put together a new ticket.

That pulls everything out of the race and gets it back into the control of the party to deal with something each should have dealt with a very long time ago.

If you don’t like my idea, please address your complaints to the RNC and DNC head offices.  I’ve heard rumors that both parties have come to regret their respective candidates.  But that’s just a rumor.
