Statement as of 2:57 am EST on December 3, 2014
Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 am EST this
morning.
* hazard types... snow... sleet... and freezing rain.
* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches... along with
one to two tenths of an inch of ice.
* Timing... snow will continue to change to sleet and then freezing
rain this morning. The mix will change to all rain during the
late morning hours Wednesday.
* Impacts... a wintry mix of precipitation will make for slick
travel tonight into Wednesday morning.
* Winds... north around 10 mph.
* Temperatures... in the 20s.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
