Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 6 PM this evening to

11 am EST Wednesday...

The National Weather Service in gray has issued a Winter Weather

Advisory... which is in effect from 6 PM this evening to 11 am EST

Wednesday.

* Hazard types... snow... sleet... and freezing rain.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches... along

with around a trace of ice.

* Timing... developing this evening and continuing into Wednesday

morning.

* Impacts... a wintry mix of precipitation will make for slick

travel tonight into Wednesday morning.

* Winds... east 5 to 10 mph.

* Temperatures... in the 20s... then gradually warming to near 40

Wednesday morning.

 

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or

freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for

slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while

driving.
