Dense Fog Advisory

Statement as of 3:49 PM EST on December 3, 2014

Dense fog advisory in effect until 7 PM EST this evening.
The National Weather Service in gray has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect until 7 PM EST this evening.
* Timing... dense fog will continue into this evening... before
approaching cold front clears the area out.
* Impacts... low visibilities will make it difficult to see on area
roadways. In addition... visibilities may change dramatically
over very short distances. Leave plenty of stopping distance
between you and other vehicles.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
