Wind Chill Advisory in effect from 11 PM this evening to 11 am EST Wednesday.
The National Weather Service in gray has issued a wind Chill
Advisory which is in effect from 11 PM this evening to 11 am
EST Wednesday.
* Locations... central New Hampshire... the foothills and central
Maine.
* Hazard types... dangerously cold wind chills.
* Wind chill readings... 20 to 29 below zero.
* Timing... tonight and Wednesday morning.
* Impacts... very cold wind chills.
* Winds... west 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.
* Temperatures... 5 above zero to 10 below zero.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds
will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in
frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
If you must venture outdoors make sure you wear a hatt and gloves.
