Wind chill advisory, clear and cold

Good morning Augusta.

This morning it is darn cold and clear. High of 7F with a windchill as low as -18F. Winds from the WNW at 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight it will remain clear in the evening, then partly cloudy. Low of -9F with a windchill as low as -24F. Winds from the WNW at 5 to 10 mph.

The readings from my own instruments are:

The humidity is 48% with a dew point of -`6.2ºF and a wind chill of -2.2ºF.

The temperature is -2.0ºF.

Our winds are Southwest between 4.0  MPH and 8.3  MPH.

Our Barometric pressure is 29.95/HPA 1014.2 and rising with a weather graphic indicating sun.

The UV rating is 0 out of 16, sunset will be at 4:36 PM with Moon Rise  at 1:42 p.m. and the moon phase is waxing Gibbous.

Yesterday  I mentioned how much wind we've had here in Maine and posted one of many web links to go to on how to make your own wind turbine and generate your own power.
