... A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 315 PM EDT
for extreme northwestern Waldo... southeastern Somerset and
northeastern Kennebec counties...
At 251 PM EDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar continued to
indicate a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging winds
in excess of 60 mph. This storm was located 7 miles southwest of
Canaan... or 6 miles southeast of Skowhegan... moving east at 20 mph.
Some locations in the warning include but are not limited to
Canaan... Fairfield... Clinton... Burnham and Benton.
