Recently I've posted how to build your own hot air balloon for $4, a rocket
glider for $17 and other things that fly like hover craft.
So, why not take the next logical step and build your own airplane?
I found this really great "how to" video that compresses building your own
airplane into a 3 minute video. So, if you can spare 3 minutes or so…

On the other hand, if you are slow and need as much as two weeks to build
one, go to:

Or, if anything AT ALL that flies, known as "experimental Aircraft" or
"home-built" aircraft is more to your liking, visit the EAA's web site
(Experimental Aircraft Association). – they have just about anything and
everything that you can think of to build.

You can really have some fun with the information on the internet, but I'd
sure be reluctant to try building an aircraft that I'd actually climb into
and fly. I'm not very good at building things.
