Refreezing possible tonight.

temperatures warmed well above freezing across New Hampshire and

Maine on Monday... with significant amounts of rain falling.

However... a strong cold front is moving across the region this

evening. This will cause temperatures to drop quickly below

freezing from west to east. The quick drop below freezing after

significant rainfall may lead to areas of ice on roads and other

surfaces... especially in areas where ponding of water has

occurred. Use extra caution when driving this evening.
