Special weather Statement today

Good Morning Augusta.
We are under a special advisory this morning. A high fire danger will exist
in New Hampshire and western Maine late this morning through the early
evening hours.
Relative humidity levels will drop off quickly this morning as winds
increase. A relative humidity of 15 to 25 percent will prevail throughout
New Hampshire and western Maine by early afternoon. West winds will increase
to 10 to 15 mph with gusts to 20 mph. This will result in dangerous fire
conditions throughout the area. Any open fires or brush fires could spread
quickly and become out of control. Please check with your local Fire
Department or forestry office before doing any burning today.
This morning it is partly cloudy. High of 64F. Winds from the WNW at 10 to
15 mph with higher gusts.
Tonight it will be overcast with a chance of rain after midnight. Low of
45F. Winds from the WSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20%.
The readings outside right now, taken from my own weather instruments:
a relative humidity of 44% with a Dew Point of 29.9ºF.
The temperature is 51ºF with no wind chill to speak of at this time.
Presently we have West Northwest winds between 3.8 mph and 5.4 mph.
Our Barometric pressure is 29.98 and rising with a weather graphic
indicating sun.
We had no precipitation overnight in this area.
Visibility is 10.0 miles with another fantastic ceiling.
Everyone needs to be real careful about open fires out of doors today. With
an expected record low humidity and winds gusting to 29 MPH, its dangerous
out there.
