Weather Advisory

The National Weather Service in gray has issued a Winter Weather

Advisory for snow which is in effect from 11 PM this evening to

9 PM EST Thursday. The Winter Storm Watch is no longer in effect.

* Locations... Coos County in northern New Hampshire and Franklin,

Androscoggin, Kennebec, Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox and Waldo

counties in Maine.

* Hazard types... snow

* accumulations... 4 to 8 inches of snow.

* Timing... snow developing this evening and continuing through

Thursday.

* Impacts... roads will become snow covered and slippery. The

prolonged period of accumulating snow will make clean up efforts

more challenging.

* Winds... east 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* Temperatures... highs around 30 today... lows 10 to 20 tonight and

highs mostly in the 20s Thursday.

* Visibilities... lowering to half a mile or lower at times.
