Freezing fog this morning

Good Morning Augusta, this morning we have freezing fog, so be extra careful driving out there.

This morning we have areas of freezing fog and cloudy with a chance of freezing rain. Scattered rain showers this afternoon. Highs in the mid 30s. Light and variable winds becoming southwest around 10 mph this afternoon. Chance of precipitation 50 percent.

Tonight it will be cloudy. Lows in the lower 20s. West winds around 10 mph in the evening becoming light and variable.

The readings outside right now, taken from my own instrumentation  are:

a relative humidity of 93% with a Dew Point of 19.6ºF.

The temperature is 21.4ºF with almost no wind chill.

The wind velocity right now is between 0.4 mph and 1.3 mph out of the North Northwest.

Our Barometric pressure is 29.78 and falling. The weather graphic indicates rain.

We had precipitation yesterday and overnight of just over 3 inches in the form of snow and rain.

Visibility is 0.2 miles with light freezing fog.

Since today is the first day of February, the month of Valentine's day, I thought I'd post some thoughtful notes about what love really means.

Nothing cures like time and love.

Laura Nyro

And who can not love this old Irish toast:

May those that love us, love us;

and those that don't love us,

May God turn their hearts;

and if He doesn't turn their hearts,

may He turn their ankles

so we'll know them by their limping.

And, from the heart:

"Love is a black rose – rare, fabulous and wonderous. Its beauty can fade but never its effect"
