Rain, freezing rain and terrible driving conditions

Good morning Augusta.

This morning it is overcast with rain, then a chance of snow and rain in the afternoon. Fog early. High of 43F. Breezy. Winds from the South at 15 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation 100% .

Tonight it will be partly cloudy with a chance of snow. Low of 7F with a windchill as low as 1F. Winds from the West at 5 to 10 mph.

The readings from my own instruments are:

The humidity is 93% with a Dew Point of  32ºF and a wind chill of 39.4ºF.

The temperature Is  39.4ºF.

The Wind is East Southeast between 0.0 MPH and 1.7 MPH.

Our Barometric pressure is 29.89  HPA 1003 and falling with a weather graphic indicating snow/rain.

We have no UV rating owing to the thick clouds and rain, sunset will be at 4:15 PM with Moon Rise at 10:13 a.m. EST and the moon phase is waxing crescent.

For the pilots out there, Raw Metar readings are:

METAR KAUG 061153Z AUTO 15006KT 1/4SM RA FG VV002 03/02 A2961 RMK AO2 UPB36E40 SLP032 P0008 60052 70056 I6022 T00280022 10033 21033 58047

Visibility is 0.2 miles/0.4 Kilometers with cloud cover that is thick and low.

We received a mix of sleet, rain and ice pellets overnight in the amount of roughly half an inch. It is difficult to be accurate in these situations.
