Refreezing of melted snow and slush is expected to produce patchy black ice on untreated roads and walkways through early this morning. Early morning commuters should exercise caution especially on secondary roads. Low pressure over southern Quebec has been drawing sharply colder air into New Hampshire and western Maine overnight. Bands of precipitation rotating around this low have gradually changed to snow with the arrival of the colder air. While only light snow accumulations are expected outside of the higher elevations... snow showers are expected to continue through the early morning hours. Anyone traveling tonight or during the morning commute should drive cautiously as roads may be slick.
