Winter Weather Advisory statement as of 1:45 PM EST on November 29, 2016
Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 4 PM EST this
afternoon.
* hazard types... snow will continue to transition to freezing
rain... and then eventually rain.
* Accumulations... snow accumulation of up to 1 inch... along with
around a tenth of an inch of ice.
* Timing... through this afternoon.
* Impacts... roads will become snow covered and icy. Freezing
rain will make exposed surfaces very slippery and could make
driving dangerous.
* Winds... southeast 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.
* Temperatures... in the lower 30s.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
