Good morning Augusta. This morning it is partly cloudy. High of 37F with a windchill as low as 23F. Breezy. Winds from the WNW at 15 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph. Good morning Augusta. It is absolutely lousey out there this morning. Drive with extra care. This morning it is overcast with thunderstorms and rain showers in the morning, then partly cloudy with a chance of rain. High of 59F. Winds from the SSW at 5 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 90% with rainfall amounts near 0.3 in. possible. Tonight it will be clear in the evening, then partly cloudy. Low of 32F. Winds from the SW at 5 to 10 mph. Good morning Augusta. We are under a special statement for dense patchy fog and black ice patches, so pay attention if you're on the road. This morning it is Partly cloudy in the morning, then overcast with rain showers. High of 50F. Winds from the SE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30%. Special Statement

Special Statement Statement as of 6:33 am EST on November 17, 2013 Patchy dense fog early this morning along with a few pockets of black ice. Moist conditions have lead to the development of locally dense fog early this morning. Motorists are advised that rapid changes in visibilities are likely at times through 8 am or so. Visibilities down to one eighth mile are possible. In addition... a few locations... mainly rural low spots are at or a below freezing. Therefore... a few patches of black ice will be possible through 8 am or so.
