* WHAT...For the first Excessive Heat Warning, dangerously hot
conditions with heat index values up to 105. For the second
Excessive Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions with heat index
values up to 105 expected.
* WHERE...Portions of south central, southwest, and western Maine
and central, northern, and southern New Hampshire.
* WHEN...For the first Excessive Heat Warning, until 8 PM EDT this
evening. For the second Excessive Heat Warning, from 11 AM to 7 PM
EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tonight's warm overnight low temperatures
mainly in the 70s will result in greater cumulative heat stress.
