Cooler and still too dry

Good morning Augusta

The readings from my weather instruments in the North field are:

The wind direction is North Northeast between 2.2 MPH and 4.3 MPH.

The Barometric pressure is 30.07 / HPA 1018.2 and rising with a weather graphic indicating sun.

The UV rating is 1.0 out of 16, Sunrise is at 6:03 a.m. Sunset is 7:12 P.M. Moon rise is at 7:12 a.m., Moon set is 7:55 p.m. and tonight is a NEW MOON.

The RAW METAR reading from the airport in Augusta, Maine where the sun first touches the U.S.A. every morning is: METAR KAUG 021053Z AUTO 02004KT 10SM CLR 15/12 A3002 RMK AO2 SLP163 T0150012

Visibility is 10.0 miles / 16.1 kilometers with clear skies today.

We  didn’t receive any new rain over the past 24 hours, and the NWS geeks are saying that the remains of Hermine won’t get us much rain, if any.  Shorten your time in the shower folks, when it comes to the drought “it ain’t over yet.”
