Okay folks, Monday is the big debate between our two candidates for president.  Regardless of your political preference I urge you to watch, and evaluate each candidate with an open mind.

It’s time to set aside all of the preconceived notions and accusations of prejudice, lies and concealed criminal activity by each candidate to the other.

Look for real world substance now.  Taxes, a continuation of an improving economy and how they plan to keep it going.

Serious health care for those who cannot, and will never be able to afford it.  Insurance rates and a plan, put forth by someone somewhere to stop our young men and women from being shot at overseas.

The racial distress in this country has been an issue since the end of the civil war, and it won’t simply go away during someone’s 4 year term of office, and I don’t care who the president is.

And, as you listen to inflammatory statements about international security try to keep things in focus.  The U.S.A. is largely viewed as being unstable in the field of international relations by most other nations on earth because our foreign policy can, and usually does change every 4 years.  That fact tends to be enlarged by our economic and military might.  What The USA says and does matters more because of those factors.  But remember, we don’t run the world, we never will run the world and it’s wrong to try.  We are a part of the world.

Listen for how someone inexperienced will get advice that will make real changes.

Many of us who think and pay attention to what someone doesn’t say, are going to be listening closely.
