Good morning Augusta. This morning it is clear with and expected high of 25F with a windchill as low as 5F. Winds from the NNW at 10 to 15 mph. Tonight it will be clear in the evening, then partly cloudy. Low of 7F with a windchill as low as -4F. Winds from the North at 5 to 15 mph. Good morning Augusta. We remain under a winter weather advisory. This morning it is overcast with ice pellets and snow, then snow and rain in the afternoon. Fog early. High of 39F. Winds from the ESE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation 100%. Tonight it will be overcast with snow in the evening, then mostly cloudy. Low of 21F with a windchill as low as 12F. Winter Weather Advisory Statement as of 5:30 am EST on December 6, 2014 Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM EST this evening. * hazard types... snow... sleet... and freezing rain. * Accumulations... snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches... along with around a tenth of an inch of ice. * Timing... snow will transition to sleet and freezing rain during the morning. Dense Fog Advisory Statement as of 3:49 PM EST on December 3, 2014 Dense fog advisory in effect until 7 PM EST this evening. The National Weather Service in gray has issued a dense fog advisory... which is in effect until 7 PM EST this evening. * Timing... dense fog will continue into this evening... before approaching cold front clears the area out. * Impacts... low visibilities will make it difficult to see on area roadways. In addition... visibilities may change dramatically over very short distances. Leave plenty of stopping distance between you and other vehicles. Precautionary/preparedness actions...
