Carroll Counties...
At 11:32 AM EST...An area of heavy snow was along a line extending
from near Lincoln to near Wells...and moving northeast AT 50 MPH.
Locations impacted include...
New Gloucester, Wales, Bath, Freedom, Stow, Frye Island, Sanford,
Acton, Lewiston, Bowdoin, Lincoln, Albany, Standish, Parsonsfield,
Brunswick, Bowdoinham, Somersworth, Leeds, Lisbon, and Effingham.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 295 between mile markers 14 and 48.
Interstate 93 between mile markers 84 and 106.
Interstate 95 between mile markers 47 and 99.
This also includes...
Lake Winnipesaukee, Sebago Lake, Crawford Notch State Park, Mount
Moosilauke, and Mount Jefferson.
* Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a half mile in this
area of heavy snow.
* Sudden and brief snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are
possible in this area of heavy snow.
Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
