An area of heavy snow showers will affect northwestern Kennebec… Oxford...northern Androscoggin...south central Somerset...
northwestern Cumberland...southern Franklin...southeastern Coos...
Grafton...northwestern Belknap and Carroll Counties...
At 8:03 AM EST...An area of heavy snow showers was along a line
extending from 7 miles southwest of Carrabassett Valley to 12 miles
west of Bethel to near Fairlee...and moving southeast AT 30 MPH.

Locations impacted include...
Jay, Grafton, Fayette, Orange, Freedom, Stow, Livermore Falls, Mount
Abram, Lincoln, Albany, Byron, Lyme, Laconia, Plymouth, Effingham,
Wilton, Sanbornton, Brownfield, Waterville Valley, and Mason.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 89 between mile markers 48 and 53.
Interstate 93 between mile markers 61 and 107.

This also includes...
Lake Winnipesaukee, Crawford Notch State Park, Mount Moosilauke,
Rumney Rocks, and Franconia Ridge.

* Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a half mile in this
area of heavy snow showers.

Travel is not advised during these heavy snow showers. Rapid
visibility reduction and potentially icy roads are likely to lead to
accidents. Consider delaying travel until the snow showers pass your
location. If traveling pull off to a safe location.

Icy roads are possible as the snow melts on the roads then quickly
refreezes.
