WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM SATURDAY TO 6 AM EDT SUNDAY

* WHAT...Heavy snow and mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations between 7 and 12 inches, sleet accumulations up to 1 inch, and ice accumulations up to one quarter of an inch.

* WHERE...Central Interior Cumberland, Interior Waldo, Kennebec, Androscoggin, and Interior York Counties.

* WHEN...From 2 AM Saturday to 6 AM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Significant snowfall and mixed precipitation will

combine with low visibility to create very dangerous driving

conditions.
