HEAVY SNOW AND MIXED PRECIPITATION LATE WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY.

 

WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM WEDNESDAY TO 3 PM EST THURSDAY.

* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations between 6 and 10 inches and ice accumulations between one and two tenths of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 40

mph.

* WHERE...Portions of south central, southwest, west central, and western Maine. Portions of northern New Hampshire.

* WHEN...From 7 PM Wednesday to 3 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Periods of moderate and heavy snow will combine with low visibility to create dangerous driving conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
