WINTRY MIX EXPECTED TONIGHT THROUGH MONDAY.
Precipitation will back in from the Gulf of Maine this evening and linger through Monday. Temperatures will generally remain at or below freezing resulting in mixed precipitation, including snow, sleet, and freezing rain. While no single precipitation type appears like it will accumulate to significant levels, the combination of precipitation types will likely result in hazardous travel conditions.
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EST MONDAY NIGHT.
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation. Snow and sleet accumulations of 2 to 4 inches and ice accumulations between one tenth and one quarter of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Maine.
* WHEN...Until Midnight EST Monday Night.
* IMPACTS...Periods of mixed precipitation are expected with air
temperatures remaining below freezing. Expect slippery road
conditions and avoid travel if possible. Snow, sleet, and freezing
rain develop overnight, with another round of mixed precip Monday
afternoon.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
