Okay, go get the kids and "educate" them on snow storm folk lore. This is important stuff and they need to know it so that when they have kids of their own they can pass it … wel, you get the idea.

Snow storm folk lore:

the snow day ritual is this: On the night before a potential snowstorm, if you wear your PJs on inside out and put a spoon under your pillow, you will have a day off from school the next day.

Also, and this is important,  you should flush one ice cube down the toilet for every inch of snow that you want to fall. (any skiers in the family?)

Make sure they understand that the foregoing is an important responsibility that will fall to them to pass on as adults to other children. Let me know how many inches of snow they want for Xmas.

BTW, when the virus is over the kids will be "back in school" so this really is critical information.
