The National Weather Service in Gray has issued a * Flood Watch for portions of south central Maine and west central Maine, including the following areas, in south central Maine, Coastal Waldo, Interior Waldo, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln and Southern Somerset. In west central Maine, Central Somerset. * From 7 PM EST this evening through Tuesday afternoon. * Heavy rainfall of up to 2 to 3 inches is expected tonight into Tuesday. Localized rainfall may approach 4 inches over the immediate coast and in the higher terrain, especially in the southeast-facing slopes of the White Mountains and the western Maine mountains.
