Statement as of 1:30 PM EDT on April 15, 2014

The National Weather Service in gray has issued a

* Flood Warning for

the Kennebec river at Augusta

* from this evening until further notice.

* At 1 PM the stage was... 10.3 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

* Forecast to rise above flood stage by tonight and continue to rise to near 20.2 feet by tomorrow afternoon.
