Flood Warning extended until Friday evening.

the Flood Warning continues for the Kennebec river at Augusta.

* Until Friday evening.

* At 3 PM the stage was 16.7 feet.

* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

* The river will continue rising to near 18 feet by tonight. The river will

fall below flood stage Friday afternoon.
