Statement as of 3:14 PM EDT on March 30, 2014
Winter Weather Advisory now in effect from midnight tonight to 8 am EDT Monday...
* hazard types... snow... sleet... and freezing rain.
* Accumulations... snow accumulation of up to 1 inch... along with
up to a tenth of an inch of ice.
* Timing... occasional rain or drizzle will give way to occasional
mixed precipitation overnight through Monday morning.
* Impacts... slippery travel.
* Winds... north 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
* Temperatures... in the lower 30s.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.

Statement as of 3:22 PM EDT on March 30, 2014
Flood Watch remains in effect through Monday afternoon...
The Flood Watch continues for
* portions of western Maine and New Hampshire... including the
following areas... in western Maine... Androscoggin... coastal
Cumberland... coastal Waldo... coastal York... interior
Cumberland... interior Waldo... interior York... Kennebec...
Knox... Lincoln... Sagadahoc... southern Franklin... southern
Oxford and southern Somerset. In New Hampshire... Belknap...
coastal Rockingham... interior Rockingham... Merrimack...
northern Carroll... northern Grafton... southern Carroll...
southern Grafton... Strafford and Sullivan.
* Through Monday afternoon
* the heavy rainfall that affected the watch area this morning has
moved out. However... occasional light to moderate rain is
expected to redevelop this evening and last into Monday. Another
one half to one inch of rain could fall locally through this
time. This combined with continued runoff and snow melt may
continue to allow for minor flooding of rivers... creeks... and
streams... and urban areas. A few ice jams will be possible as
well.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
