Strong thunderstorms expected to develop this afternoon...
Hot and humid conditions will allow thunderstorms to develop
across the region this afternoon. These storms may contain
damaging winds... large hail... frequent lightning... and
torrential rains.
Boaters and outdoor interests should monitor the situation and be
prepared to take shelter. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from
a thunderstorm... if you hear thunder seek shelter immediately.
Monitor NOAA Weather Radio for the latest information... forecasts... and
warnings.
