Special Statement as of 11:42 am EDT on July 15, 2018 A cluster of strong thunderstorms will affect Kennebec, central Oxford, northeastern Androscoggin, south Central Somerset and southeastern Franklin counties. At 1141 am EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Norridgewock to Jay to near Andover. Movement was southeast at 25 mph. Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail are possible with these storms. Locations impacted include Lewiston, Augusta, Waterville, Fairfield, Bethel, Oakland, Rumford, Turner, Skowhegan, Jay, China, Clinton, Belgrade, Livermore Falls, Farmingdale, Manchester, Dixfield, Hallowell, Canton and Andover. This includes Interstate 95 between mile markers 109 and 136. This also includes... Screw Auger Falls, Mount Zircon, Crocker Hill, and Streaked Mountain. Hello Augusta, Maine Yesterday afternoon we beat the Blue Jays in the 10 th inning with a walk-off grand slamfrom Xander Bogarts for a final of 6-2. We’re 67 – 30 now. This afternoon’s game is the last of the 4 game series with the Toronto Blue Jays at 1:05 at Fenway Park in Boston. We’ll be in the all-star break until next Friday.
