Good Morning Augusta . This morning it is partly cloudy. High of 39F. Winds from the WNW at 10-20 mph with possible gusting to 30 mph. Tonight it will remain partly cloudy with a Low of 21F. and Winds from the NNW at 5-10 mph. The readings outside right now, taken from my own weather instruments: a relative humidity of 60% with a Dew Point of 22.9ºF. The temperature is 35.3ºF with a wind chill of 20.5ºF. Chance of snow 30% with accumulations up to 1 in. possible. The readings outside right now, taken from my own weather instruments: a relative humidity of 84% with a Dew Point of 29.8ºF. The temperature is 34.2ºF with no wind chill at this time. We have Southwest winds between   0.9 mph and 2.7 mph. Our Barometric pressure is 29.53 and rising with a weather graphic indicating sun.   We had precipitation in the past 24 hours in the form of rain/snow/sleet (some of you had freezing rain as well) of 0.59 inches, but that is an estimation as much of the precipitation has not yet been measurable by instrumentation. Special weather statement Statement as of 5:49 am EST on March 4, 2012 With clear skies and temperatures below freezing... patchy black ice developed on roads and sidewalks across the area last evening. Although many roads have been treated... some roads and sidewalks may still be slippery. Drivers and pedestrians should use caution while driving or walking outside early this morning. Conditions will improve this morning after the sun rises.
