* WHAT...Visibility of a quarter-mile or less in dense fog.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Maine.

* WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT this morning.

* IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Visibility will improve through the early morning hours, especially after 8am.
