To continue your refresher course on election year termonology, I needed to add in the following terms (from regular folks like you and I) that relate how us voters feel about things.  Enjoy.

“VICE” - Anything you enjoy that is bad for you. (Neither man nor woman lives by bread alone!)

“CONSCIENCE” - That which hurts when everything else feels so good. (Legal “guilty pleasure.”)

“SIN” - Anything the other fellow enjoys and you don't. (IE: My moral standard can beat up your moral standard.)

“PURITAN” – AN INDIVIDUAL WHO SUSPECTS THAT SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE IS HAVING FUN. (Perfected in New England in the early 1600’s as moral high ground that nobody else will ever be able to attain.)

”Fair” is whatever God decides” Steven King

"Only four things truly get the attention of elected officials: Money, Gunfire, Sex and when the word "No" gets applied directly to them."
