Elevated fire potential this afternoon.

Relative humidities are expected to fall to between 20 and 30

percent across much of New Hampshire and southwest and central

Maine today. This dry air combined with wind gusts of around 20

mph will result in elevated fire potential across the region.

Given ongoing green up... a red flag warning is not being issued at

this time. However it is advised that you check with your local

Fire Department or forestry service before doing any open burning.
