Freezing Rain Advisory statement as of 3:32 am EDT on March 24, 2016

Freezing Rain Advisory in effect from 7 PM this evening to

9 am EDT Friday.

The National Weather Service in gray has issued a Freezing Rain

Advisory which is in effect from 7 PM this evening to 9 am EDT

Friday.

* Hazard types... occasional light freezing rain and freezing

drizzle.

* Ice accumulations... up to a tenth of an inch. Localized amounts

of up to a quarter inch possible.

* Timing... light freezing rain or freezing drizzle is expected to

develop this evening and continue on and off overnight before

temperatures rise to above freezing Friday morning.

* Impacts... slippery conditions... especially on untreated

secondary roads.

* Winds... east 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

* Temperatures... in the upper 20s to lower 30s.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or

freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for

slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.
